Lite Steam-A-Seam is the incomparable new fusible web from the company that brought you Steam-A-Seam. Like the original, Lite Steam-A-Seam has a pressure sensitive adhesive that allows for a temporary hold to your materials. There is no pressing until your entire appliqué is in place.
Ideal for: Sheer & lightweight fabrics like silk, chiffon, taffeta or rayon. Delicate ribbons, trim and lace. Paper, cardboard and papier-mâché.
Bond is strong and permanent. Machine wash and dry or dry-clean; we do not recommend drying with a dryer sheet.Leave edges unfinished; will not fray or lift. Will not gum up your needle if you choose to stitch through it.

Steam-A-Seam is the choice for all your no-sew needs. It is the no-fuss fusible that makes any project quicker and easier. This innovative fusible web allows for a temporary hold to your materials. Instead of ironing Steam-A-Seam to your appliqué fabric, simply stick it to the wrong side of the fabric and cut out your appliqué pieces. The only time you will press with an iron is at the very end when your entire appliqué, even multiple layer appliqué, is positioned in place.
Nothing is permanent until pressed with an iron. If you change your mind about the appliqué fabric you are using, simply peel off Steam-A-Seam and stick it to new fabric.
Since you haven't fused Steam-A-Seam to your applique material, you can remove it from your fabric scraps and use both the excess fabric and Steam-A-Seam for other projects. There is no waste.

Stick entire appliqué in place before fusing.
Try on wearables or pin projects to the wall before fusing to check appliqué placement.
Set project aside and come back to it later; pieces won't shift out of place.
Care instructions: Once fused, Steam-A-Seam is washable and dry-cleanable. Unfinished edges won't lift or fray. If you choose to finish the edges you can sew through the pressed appliqué without gumming up your needle or finish the edges with paint. We do not recommend drying with a dryer sheet.

Ideal for very fine fabrics and free hand lace embroidery. Vilene Solufleece is a cold water soluble embroidery non woven product and can be used as a backing for all types of embroidery. It can be washed out without leaving any residue. The newly developed fibres enable the backing material to be dissolved in cold water, if a speedier process is required we recommend a water temperature of 25-30 degrees c.(Item 3270)
