If you have done a bit of cross stitch on Aida fabric it will certainly help with this class and will expand what you already know to cover many other counted stitches. However if you have not stitched any counted thread work at all this class will give the opportunity to learn about 15 different counted stitches and to work on an evenweave fabric. You will learn the basics of cross stitch too, so if you have always wanted a go but not known where to start this is the class for you. The fabric is not too fine and is easy to count on and if anyone has difficulty a larger count of fabric can always be substituted
